Beta Testing Program

The test cases for Nexit Mobile Application Beta Testing are listed below. Please follow them one at a time and one after the other.

01 | Starting the application for the first time

Make sure:

  • The application is successfully installed on the mobile phone.
  • Internet connection is available.

Steps & Instructions:

  • Launch the application from the testing device and follow the steps until you land on the screen that shows a map with your location in the center.
  • During these steps, you should go through the Intro / Onboarding screens and the permissions screens to allow the application to access your location.
  • As you land on the map, the tutorial pop-ups should start showing up. Explore the app by navigating around. Tutorial pop-ups help you better understand the possibilities and options.

02 | Explore, locate & search for some businesses, places, or locations

Make sure:

  • The mobile device location services are on and granted,
  • Internet connection is available.

Steps & Instructions:

  • Launch the application and start exploring the app as soon as you land on the map screen.
    Tap over the map to pan, rotate, and zoom in and out to find the area you want to explore for the desired businesses, places, or locations.
  • Find the desired businesses, places, or locations on the map, e.g., “McDonald’s” or “Starbucks,” or long-press somewhere on the map and check what happens.
  • Try clicking on the button at the top right corner of the map to change the map’s appearance from a map to a satellite view.
  • Try using the search bar to find different businesses, places, or locations. Try finding multiple ones simultaneously by adding various search criteria.

03 | Try the "Ask AI" feature in the application

Make sure:  

  • The mobile device location services are on and granted,
    Internet connection is available.
    The application is launched successfully.

Steps & Instructions:

  • You can try clicking on the “Ask AI” button at the bottom right corner of the search input field to open a chat with the Nexit AI.
  • Nexit AI will try to help you with searches and meaningful travel plans. Share your interests, and discuss your plans for it to suggest the best possible search combinations for you.

04 | Try route planning

Make sure:  

  • The mobile device location services are on and granted,
    Internet connection is available.
    The application is launched successfully.

Steps & Instructions:

  • As you are already in explore mode, moving around the map, exploring, searching for businesses,  places, or locations, try selecting one that is a bit further away (maybe in a different city or state) and create a route.
  • When the route is created, explore what exists on it. Similar to when in explore mode, try tapping over the map to pan, rotate, and zoom in and out to find the area you want to explore for the desired businesses, places, or locations along your route. If you see something interesting, feel free to add to the route.
  • You can customize your route further by finding specific businesses, places, or locations along your route using the search bar. Try finding multiple ones simultaneously by adding various search criteria, and the app will show you where you can find all of them in one place along your route. Feel free to add to the route as you see fit.

05 | Try navigating to a specific location with stops

Make sure:  

  • The mobile device location services are on and granted,
  • Internet connection is available.
  • The application is launched and the route is defined successfully.

Steps & Instructions:

  • With the route set, you can click on to start navigation. The app will trigger turn-by-turn navigation, so place it in a visible area in your car and follow the directions. Remember to drive safely!
  • Observe and listen carefully for voice and signs instructions during the navigation and please write down if you encounter any unexpected issues.
  • During the drive, feel free to miss turns, take different routes, or even take an unplanned break to customize your route by adding additional stops or removing existing ones.

06 | Explore & use deals

Make sure:  

  • The mobile device location services are on and granted,
  • Internet connection is available.
  • The application is launched successfully.

Please note that the deals, coupons and loyalty partners are placeholders only to show the use and flow of these features.

Steps & Instructions:

  • As soon as you land on the map screen try clicking on the “Deals” button inside the bottom main navigation bar and start exploring it. This screen will provide you many different options for the available deals around you or in the desired searched area.
  • Browse the Deals, try clicking on the “Your current location” button in order to change the location and check out the available deals in different locations throughout the world.
  • Try clicking inside the search bar on the Deals screen and type in the desired search term for the desired deal or click on the “Strawberry menu” and implement specific search criteria.
  • While browsing the different deals, click on some of them, and try to claim it. Check if it leads you to the official website for claiming the specific deal.

07 | Unlock exclusive deals & benefits from our partners

Make sure:  

  • The mobile device location services are on and granted,
  • Internet connection is available.
  • The application is launched successfully.

Please note that the deals, coupons and loyalty partners are placeholders only to show the use and flow of these features.

Steps & Instructions:

  • After you are familiar with the Deals, try out the Partners section by clicking on the “Loyalty” button inside the bottom main navigation bar and start exploring it.
  • On the partners screen, are listed currently available partners, so choose one of them from the list, e.g., AT&T by tapping on it and check out the latest deals from the chosen partner.
  • Try clicking as well on the “Connect your account” button and feel the form properly in order to connect your account with the desired partner. Check what happens, and please do not forget to give us feedback for every test case you performed.
